Being a country raised kid means lots of time outside exploring nature.

Local Winter Transport

Some local farm kids get a retro ride to school on the old railway trail that seperates our house from the farm property! VERY cool!!!

Free Range Hens are Happy & Healthy

We have a nice mix of heritage bred hens and Chantecler Roosters and Chantecler pheasant hens. Once you taste a true free range egg (the yolk is gorgeous orange!) you will never buy commercial eggs ever again. Promise!

Amanda Holt Fraser: My husband Drummond & I live on his 100 acres family farm in St-Eugene Ontario. Although we both have careers in the big cities (Ottawa & Montreal), we find time to enjoy the farm and our animals (5 Quarter Horses,1 CanadianX, 1 Canadian, 2 Belgians, 34 Shetland sheep and 2 pygmy goats, 2 dogs, 6 cats).
